Why this is dangerous
Cyclamen commonly causes drooling, vomiting, and diarrhea. Tubers are the most dangerous part and can cause serious heart or neurologic signs.
Go to ER immediately if
Go urgently for repeated vomiting, breathing trouble, collapse, major lethargy, neurologic signs, or significant eye/oral burns.
What not to do
Do not wait for severe signs before calling. Do not induce vomiting unless your veterinarian advises it.
Prevention
Choose pet-safer plants when possible, identify every plant in the home or yard, and keep bouquets, bulbs, seeds, and trimmings where pets cannot reach them.
